From a French and Irish background, I have spent the first part of my life in the Paris region until I passed my French Baccalaureate in Literature. I then decided to cross the English Channel to reach the neighbouring island, known as the United Kingdom, and settle in Brighton, the English Riviera, where I took a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Media at the prestigious University of Sussex.
As a pianist, I developed my musical tastes in the fields of classical, indie and electronic music; as a student, I polished my English writing. After spending three wonderful years in this cultural and cosmopolitan city, I then decided to pursue my adventure for another four years in London, an experience exceptional both professionally and on a cultural and artistic level.
I worked in various domains, such as fashion, digital, finance and direct marketing. I reached the end of my journey and came back to Paris to pursue a career, first, within a vast international organisation, then in the sectors of finance, business, marketing and communications.
Translation has always played an important part in my various professional roles in Paris. Therefore, I decided to fully devote my time to this professional field by first enrolling in a training course and obtaining a recognised certification, and finally setting up a business as a freelance translator.
